Pastor Scott Crede graduated from the University of South Carolina with a degree in business. He also attended Luther Rice Seminary. Scott is also a graduate of Leadership SC, Leadership Columbia and ACSI Leadership Academy. After a successful career in business, Pastor Crede followed God’s call and joined the staff at Northside Baptist Church in 2001 as an Associate Pastor. He was ordained and licensed into the gospel ministry in 2002.

 

God placed Christian Education on his heart, as he co-founded Northside Christian Academy, over 11 years ago. And now after a great deal of prayer, hard work and more prayer, we see God’s blessing at Northside Christian Academy as it continues to flourish.

He serves on numerous boards, councils and committees including: The Printing Industries of the Carolinas Board of Directors - Chairman/Trustee; Richland School District One Education Advisory Council; Columbia Chamber of Commerce Teachers Recognition Committee - Chairperson; Cultural Council - Board of Directors; South Carolina Independent School Assoc. – Board of Directors; Family Service Center - Board of Directors and Junior Achievements.  Pastor Crede is married to Tracey, and they have two children - Garret (28) and Jessica (25).
