The very heartbeat of Northside Christian Academy is to have a distinct and lasting effect upon our community and our nation. Our mission is to assist parents in providing a Christian Education so that their children are rooted and grounded in a biblical worldview.
Service is a way that we approach meeting the needs of those around us. We strive to serve our community whenever possible and each grade focuses on a service project as well as multiple opportunities throughout the year to serve as a school. Our high school has led the way with this during our Spiritual Emphasis Week each November. Classes are put on hold so that students can step out into the community and focus on serving others.
We also require 6-12th graders to meet community service hours outside of what is offered through the school. God’s Word tells us in I Peter 4:10, “Each one should use whatever gifts he has received to serve others, faithfully administering God’s grace in its various forms.” The community service program gives students an opportunity to serve God by helping others, meeting new people, learning responsibility, and discovering gifts that they may use throughout life.
