
Amy Fenegan
Lower Music Teacher
Upper Choral Director
Amy is excited to return to Northside as the Lower School Music teacher, grades 1-5, and Upper
School Choir and Worship Arts Teacher. She has a music education degree from Columbia
College and was the Director of Choirs in Lexington District One and Horry County Schools,
proudly leading her students to state and national choral awards and championships. She is on
staff at Saluda River Baptist Church in West Columbia as the church pianist. Amy served on the
Board of Directors, and as Vice President and President of the Lexington County Arts
Association for many years, and has directed, music directed, and performed in more than 50
musicals at local high schools and community theatres. In 2006, Amy opened Studio A for
Performing Arts, instructing private lessons and classes in voice, piano, musical theatre, worship
arts, and acting, teaching hundreds of Lexington County students. In 2017, Studio A downsized
to allow Amy to care for her family’s changing needs. She continues to teach more than 20
private students.
Amy is a native of Lexington and the mother of Kellan, age 17, and Bruce, age 11. She enjoys
volunteering for Kellan’s Kloset, her daughter’s non-profit organization, which collects clothing,
toiletries, and other needed items for foster care children.
